Job Overview:

The Junior Recruiter will assist in the recruitment and hiring process by sourcing, screening, and scheduling candidates for interviews. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for talent acquisition, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. The Junior Recruiter will support the recruitment team in identifying top talent to meet the staffing needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing Candidates: Utilize job boards, social media, networking, and other channels to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Screening: Conduct initial phone screenings and evaluate resumes to shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, and ensure smooth communication throughout the process.
  • Candidate Management: Maintain a candidate database, track the status of applications, and provide regular updates to both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Job Posting: Draft and post job ads on various platforms to attract applicants.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Recruiter and HR team to understand hiring needs and requirements.
  • Communication: Provide timely feedback to candidates regarding their application status, interview schedules, and next steps.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing reports on hiring progress and key metrics.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist with onboarding and the new hire process, including reference checks and coordinating paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or related field (internships or entry-level experience is a plus).
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruiting software is a plus.
    • Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
