We are hiring an experienced Core Banking Solutions Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in delivering digital change and transformation programs with specific focus on banking and core banking system (CBS) implementations. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in helping clients traverse their core banking transformation journey by providing guidance and subject matter expertise in delivering initiatives that drive sustainable change.
What You’ll Do
As a Core Banking Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and solutions to clients in the implementation and optimization of core banking systems. This role involves understanding client requirements, designing customized solutions, and ensuring successful deployment and integration. In this context, the following activities will fall under your responsibility:
- Temenos and Core banking consultancy – business trends, best practices, gaps, solutions and operating model.
- Engage with clients to understand their business needs and core banking requirements.
- Conduct detailed assessments of existing banking systems and processes.
- Design and propose customized solutions to address client needs and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead the implementation and integration of core banking solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to client teams on new systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including solution designs, implementation plans, and user manuals.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in core banking.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and present reports to clients and senior management on project progress and outcomes.
Key Qualities for Success
- Banking-Specific Expertise: Experience in large-scale CBS (Temenos) implementations, with deep understanding of banking processes and systems.
- Stakeholder Management, Communication & Reporting: Strong communication and ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders within banking environments.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Proven ability to lead and mentor Change Champions in fast-paced, high-stakes projects.
- Skills in Change Metrics and Impact Analysis: Ideal candidates will excel at defining change metrics, manage change impacts and resistance, and ensuring adoption metrics are met to demonstrate real transformation outcomes.
- Global Experience: Comfortable navigating the complexities of multicultural and cross-border banking transformation programs.
- Continuous Learner: Committed to staying current on trends in banking technology and best practices.
- Results-Oriented Mindset: Skilled at translating CBS implementation strategies into measurable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years in banking transformation roles, with at least 7+ years demonstrated success in CBS (Temenos) implementations or large-scale banking system rollouts.
- Certifications: Banking-specific qualifications (e.g., Certifications in CBS solutions like Finacle, Temenos, or SAP Banking) are a plus.
