Oracle Flexcube Technical Consulting Manager

Skills & Experience:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking implementation projects.
• Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking domain knowledge on FCUBS 14.5 version and above.
• Technical knowledge on standalone OBCL, OBPM, OBTR, OBTF, FCUBS Core, ELCM.
• Experience in migration of FLEXCUBE from lower to higher versions.
• Expertise in Oracle DB, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, XML, basic Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with Microservices and API.
• Experience in Core Banking Solution design and analytical data modeling using Oracle FLEXCUBE.
• Proficiency in microservice-based products like OBLO, OBTFPM, OBCFPM, and external REST service development.
• Complete architecture knowledge of Oracle FLEXCUBE version 14.5.
• Proficiency in core JAVA, Spring Boot, and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with installations, interfaces like ATM, Queues, and APIs.
• FCUBS and OBMA customizations as an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Oracle Banking extensibility (OBX).
• Proficiency in ELCM and relevant modules.
• Lead the design and development of the Data Warehouse system.
• Data Modeler with the ability to prepare Entity Relationship diagrams.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle FLEXCUBE backend data model and table knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS and Data warehouse systems (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL).
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.
• At least 2 core banking implementation experiences related to Data Warehouse.
• 5 years of experience in DWH architecting and data modeling.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, highly focused, detail-oriented, and a team player with high energy levels and the desire to learn and progress within the company.
• Knowledge of EMS Flexml, STP Debug Capture process.
• Ability to use defined standards, tools, processes, and change control steps, documenting all work to meet quality, audit, and compliance expectations of Oracle and the client.
• Support for scheduled weekend activities (e.g., BCM testing, Data Centre Power down, etc.) of production applications.
• Coordination with Offshore Development and/or Support teams for various technical deliverables, including customization deliveries, patch sets, fixes, etc.

Technical Skills:

• Sound expertise in Oracle DB, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, XML, and basic Unix shell scripting.
• Microservices and API expertise.
• Hands-on expertise in deployments, backup, restore operations, and source control tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform proper handover and knowledge transfer at the end of each assignment.
• Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional.
• Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Banking.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• 5 to 10 years of total experience, with 3 to 6 years in primary skills.
• Previous banking experience and familiarity with engaging Offshore Development and Support teams to provide end resolution for production incidents, including status reporting and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving, and challenging environment.
• External Accreditation: ITIL v3 Foundation is an added advantage.
