We are hiring an experienced System Administrator having 10+ years of expertise in delivering digital change and transformation programs with specific focus on banking and core banking system (CBS) implementations. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in Temenos Transact & TAFJ administration, deployment, management and support. Collaboratively work with stakeholders to customize, configure and extend Temenos Transact functionalities to meet clients’ business requirements.

What You’ll Do

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support of Temenos Transact & TAFJ and associated infrastructures. Your contributions will be essential in driving continuous improvement and innovation within clients’ organization. In this context, the following activities will fall under your responsibility:

  • Configure and maintain usage of relevant modules, setup and maintain configuration parameters and user access rights.
  • Coordinate and liaise with relevant stakeholders to test fixes/patches, new releases and manage availability of the test system to meet requirements for training and testing while ensuring operational continuity.
  • Facilitate, coordinate and provide support to users in the areas of user account management, enterprise applications and other infrastructure.
  • Ensure all interfaces to other systems operate with integrity on a day-to-day basis, reconciling as required between the systems.
  • Support with set up of integration requirements and testing between Temenos Transact, 3rd party systems and associated infrastructure.
  • Provide systems elements of management information reporting, planning and developing appropriately to ensure relevant, accurate high-quality information can be generated.
  • Providing guidance and support to the team.

Key Qualities for Success

  • Banking-Specific Expertise: Experience in large-scale CBS implementations, with strong understanding of Temenos Core Banking System architecture and banking processes.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience in most of these technologies and languages: Temenos Transact, TAFJ, java, RHEL O/S, OpenShift, IBM MQ, Kafka, Oracle/Postgres/MongoDB and IRIS framework. Temenos functional knowledge desirable.
  • Stakeholder Management, Communication & Reporting: Strong communication and ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders within banking environments.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Proven ability to lead and mentor Change Champions in fast-paced, high-stakes projects.
  • Skills in Change Metrics and Impact Analysis: Ideal candidates will excel at defining change metrics, manage change impacts and resistance, and ensuring adoption metrics are met to demonstrate real transformation outcomes.
  • Global Experience: Comfortable navigating the complexities of multicultural and cross-border banking transformation programs.
  • Continuous Learner: Committed to staying current on trends in banking technology and best practices.
  • Results-Oriented Mindset: Skilled at translating CBS implementation strategies into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 10+ years in banking transformation roles, with at least 7+ years demonstrated success in CBS (Temenos) implementations or large-scale banking system rollouts.
  • Certifications: Certifications in CBS solutions like Finacle, Temenos, or SAP Banking are a plus.
