• System Integration: it is required to domain integrations based on webservices, API calls, xml and json formats. Should be able to understand, elaborate, and maintain interfaces documentation, and to validate its work end to end.
• SQL: it is required domain of SQL language and database engine to elaborate, review and maintain queries on existing database. Must be able to evaluate and remediate possible impacts of queries of system performance.
• Network connection: have basic knowledge of network connectivity, LANs and firewalls to maintain SIC connections with source databases and evaluate change impacts on environment.
• EAI tools (webmethods): have a basic understanding of Enterprise Application Integration tools (even better in webmethods) to maintain SIC connectivity between source systems (SAP included) and SIC, and to evaluate change impacts on environment.
• Mining process: good understanding of mining process to understand users’ requirements and problems user have to use the system. Ability of understanding the functionalities of SIC and the value / impact of these functionalities over mining operation.
• System documentation: be able to elaborate, understand and maintain system documentation. Identify and manage missing information to complement system information. Experience on elaboration of support database with common issues and verified solutions.
• Kanban: SIC core team in South Africa uses Kanban methodology to manage change requirements and system issues. SIC team needs to interact with SIC Core team using this methodology.
• ITIL process: required to manage user expectations and provide visibility (for support and maintenance activities).
